The problem
The Netherlands has more than 17,500 mobile entrepreneurs — food trucks, market traders, pop-ups. Finding a pitch was a patchwork: every municipality, market and event with its own rules, lists and phone numbers.
What we built
We co-founded Standplaats.nl and built the platform: one marketplace for both sides. Entrepreneurs create one profile for their stand or truck, search by type, place and date, and book in a few clicks. Location owners — market masters, municipalities, event organisers, shops and campsites — list their pitches, set prices and availability, and invite the traders they want.
- Interactive market maps: draw the terrain, number the pitches, set sizes and branches.
- Booking requests and invitations, accepted or declined with one click.
- Messages, availability calendars and payments in one place.
- Market management for municipalities: waiting lists, allocations and occupancy.
- Free to join; a small commission only on accepted bookings.
How it is built
A Laravel API, a React app and a WordPress site for the content and sales pages.
